Guide the team through an iterative learning process of gathering data with many people who are impacted, reframing the feedback, and supporting decision making. In some cases, we will work on a parallel goal to build a narrative for the impact of a program.

Idea Generation & Design
I co-facilitate collaborative workshops to involve a broad range of people to envision different ways to reach a common goal. I am known for helping teams work within constraints and leverage strengths in creative ways.
Prototyping & Piloting
We work to visualize ideas for a program, service, or a new way of working to support early learning and adaptation. Prototypes often take the form of mocked-up experiences and sketches that people can relate to and interact within offer a low-cost way to capture idea’s potential impact. Testing a small-scale pilot to better understand the potential outcomes for people who interact with it, and operational impacts for making a change. I also coach teams and bring a lens of strategy and partner dynamics as they launch a pilot and are learning, adapting and troubleshooting in real time.

Everyone has something to contribute to making their communities better. I’m proactive about removing barriers to participation and hosting brave spaces for discussion and reflection. When mistakes happen, I’m committed to learning and always improving.
Creating Ownership
Communities hold all the skill, knowledge, and creativity needed to solve intractable and every-day problems. Rather than taking on the role of ‘expert’, I encourage my teams to trust lived experiences and own the success of our work together.
Process as product
Collaboration across organizations and communities can build new knowledge and healed relationships through a common purpose and a greater understanding for each other. I’ve seen how working together throughout the design process can be as transformative as the final product we create together.
